Client: Essilor UK – a B2B brand that produces lenses for glasses and sunglasses.
I wrote the script for the video, which was produced by SkeptiSketch, with a voiceover recorded by eminent science communicator Alom Shaha. The video was shared by bloggers and news sites in various fields, including science, optometry, ophthalmology, atheism and animation.
I also optimized the video for YouTube search to ensure it ranked as highly as possible for the relevant search terms.
Results: Over 11,000 views, 800 direct social engagements, 1500 indirect social shares (where coverage of the video is shared), 19 backlinks.
